The Experience

Amanohashidate, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, is a long sandbar with a length of nearly 4 kilometers from north to south formed by the tide and wind, which separates the Aso Sea Inland Sea and Miyazu Bay in Japan. There are more than 7,000 pine trees over a hundred years old on the sandbar. It is named after the bridge that stretches to the sky when you look down from your crotch. Take a single cable car to the viewing platform on Mountain to see the panoramic view. Amanohashidate overlooking the sea runs across the middle, with beautiful coastlines, natural landscapes created by nature, long pine sandbanks, and white and delicate beaches. It is called Kyoto of the Sea. The landscape here is different from shrines and temples. It is a beautiful landscape that can be experienced. Ine is not very big and can be visited in half a day. The most distinctive thing is the rows of boat houses on the seaside. Funaya** was originally designed to pull boats from the sea into the first-floor boathouse to avoid being damaged by wind and insects. In the past, it was a wooden boat, so it had to be stored in a boathouse. The village was built in the Meiji era and has been preserved as a tourist attraction. There is an Ine Bay sightseeing boat that runs every 30 minutes. You can buy snacks (shrimp crackers, which can be eaten by humans) in the waiting hall and feed the seagulls. When the boat is moving, there will be a large number of seagulls traveling with the boat, which is spectacular.
